      Love Cubito

Cubito is my new go-to morning cup. I’ve fallen in love with this mellow, faintly chocolatey brew. Will order again (and again).

Cubito has been one of our top favorites since 2015

We were introduced to Cubito by our local Co-op, which had a genius who knew to bring this in to sell. We were floored at its flavor and body.

Cubito hasn’t always been available in the intervening years, but when it has, we’ve made sure to snap it up.

It has a smooth spice taste with a hint of chocolate and a slight brightness. It tastes like a beverage you enjoy on a cold or rainy day, but you get that feeling even on a nice summer day, too. There’s no need to add anything to it, because black is the best way to savor it.

Make it with well-filtered water that still has minerals in it. We like to make it at 183-185 in our Aeropress, waiting a few minutes to press it out.

    FAQ

How do I subscribe to this coffee?

Single origin coffee subscriptions are available here through our Seasonal Variety program

Why is this coffee called Regenerative?

By taking special care with farming practices that improve the nutrient cycles of nitrogen in the soil, the quality of the coffee also improves. We tasted examples of this coffee that were grown using a more traditional method, and each time the regenerative approach scored better. We're excited to share this iteration of the Cubito!

How many cups of coffee are in a bag?

Using the recipe that we use in-store, each 12oz bag makes 17 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in two weeks or for a pair of coffee drinkers to enjoy in a week.

Each 2LB bag makes 45 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 3 weeks or for two people to enjoy in a week and a half

Each 5LB bag makes 113 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 8 weeks or for two people to enjoy in a month

How long does Sightglass coffee stay fresh?

Sightglass coffee tastes best up to six weeks after the roast date printed on the back of the sealed bag. Once opened, we recommend you use the coffee within two weeks for optimal freshness. Coffee will taste best when ground immediately before brewing.
